Common Questions
How long does the CBI process take?
The entire process from application to passport typically takes 3-6 months. This includes due diligence checks (2-3 months), approval, investment completion, and passport issuance. We ensure your application is complete before submission to avoid delays.
Do I need to live in Saint Lucia?
No. There is no residency requirement to obtain or maintain Saint Lucia citizenship. You can live anywhere in the world. There is also no requirement to visit Saint Lucia before, during, or after the application process.
Can I include my family?
Yes. The programme allows inclusion of spouse, dependent children under 30, parents over 55, and unmarried siblings under 18. Additional government fees apply for each dependent.
Is dual citizenship allowed?
Yes. Saint Lucia fully permits dual citizenship. You do not need to renounce your existing nationality. Your existing citizenship is not notified of your Saint Lucia application.
What investment options are available?
Three main options: (1) National Economic Fund donation from $100,000, (2) Approved real estate investment from $200,000, and (3) Government bonds from $250,000 (returned after 5 years). The NEF option is the most popular due to its lower cost and simplicity.
